Introducing my Blueberry Lemonade Margarita, one of my favorite viral TikTok recipes. Think of it as a Ménage à Trois between the classic margarita, your favorite summer lemonade and fresh blueberries; sweet in all the right places yet tart and tangy ’cause it’s bursting with fresh citrus.

You’ve heard of a Blackberry Gin Smash or a Blackberry Mojito, now it’s time to celebrate fresh juicy blueberries with my best, refreshing Blueberry Margarita. It’s easy to make and perfect for Cinco de Mayo or any time of year you want some refreshing deliciousness in a margarita glass.

🍋 Ingredients and Substitutions For a Blueberry Margarita

  • Organic Cane Sugar – remember, not all sugar is vegan. I like organic sugar as they usually are.
  • Fresh Blueberries – you can substitute with frozen, if you prefer. For more blueberry recipes, check out this Lemon Blueberry Loaf, my Vegan Blueberry Lemon Muffins and my Blueberry Chia Seed Pudding.
  • Tequila – blanca or silver tequila work best because they are clear. For a list of vegan tequilas, check out Barnivore.
  • Triple Sec – found in most grocery or liquor stores.
  • Lime Juice – best to use fresh limes, but you can also use bottled lime juice, instead.
  • Lemonade – I prefer sugar-free lemonade in this recipe, but you can use whatever you can find or make your own.
  • Sea Salt – you’ll rim the glass with this. You can also make a sugar salt mixture to rim it with.
  • Garnishes – besides salt for the rim, you can garnish your cocktail with a lemon wedge (or lime wedge) and more fresh blueberries.

Complete ingredient measurements can be found in the recipe card below.
