Ingredients

  • 4 oz vodka chilled
  • 4 oz Blue Curacao chilled
  • ½ oz lime juice fresh or bottled

Instructions

  • Into a cocktail shaker, add 4 ounces of chilled vodka
  • Next, add 4 ounces of chilled blue curacao.
  • Pour in about ½ ounce lime juice (fresh or bottled; more or less to suit your taste). Shake gently for 10 seconds.
  • Strain into shot glasses; add a slice or wedge of lime for a gorgeous pop of color. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Nutrition information is an estimate.
  • Using ice in the cocktail shaker makes the blue kamikaze shot bubbly. Instead, chill your ingredients before adding them to the cocktail shaker to achieve the clear blue liquid in the shot glass.
  • I use about ½ ounce of sweetened lime juice when making these shots. You may prefer to use fresh lime juice, which is fine. Simply use the amount that suits your taste for best results.
  • For an extra special treat, run a lime wedge around the edge of the shot glass, then dip the rims in organic sugar mixed with lime zest. You can also get crazy and shoot for a pop rocks rim following the same procedure. Ooh la la, delicious!
